Fried Bread
 

Ingredients:
2 c. milk
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
Flour
 

Directions:
Mix flour salt and baking soda together.  Gradually add flour mixture to milk until it forms a ball and is easy to handle.  Roll out onto a floured bread board to about 1 inch thickness.  Cut with a biscuit cutter, fry in a large frying pan with about 1/4 inch of oil or lard.  Be sure the lard is not too hot.  Turn when brown.
