3 C. flour                                                          FILLING:  mix together

3 tsp baking powder                                                2 C. prepared pumpkin

3 Tbsp sugar                                                    ½ tsp cinnamon

1 C milk                                                           ¼ tsp cloves

1 tsp salt                                                           ½ tsp salt

½ C shortening                                     ¼ C sugar

1 egg

 

Sift dry ingredients. Add shortening and blend as for piecrust.  Beat egg and milk;

mix with dry ingredients.  Roll out the size desired.  Place filling on half of rolled pastry.  Fold over to meet edges and seal.  Pierce the top of the dough one or two times.  Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
