Betty’s Broccoli Salad

 

 

Ingredients:

 

1 head Broccoli (florets)

8 slices bacon, fried crisp and then crumbled

1/3 cup slivered almonds

1 small onion, chopped very small

 

Dressing:

 

1 cup mayonnaise

˝ cup white sugar

1 tbsp. white vinegar

 

Directions:

 

Cut broccoli into small pieces from florets down 2 inches on stem.  Add bacon, almonds and onion.  Mix ingredients for dressing together and blend into broccoli mix just before serving. Serves 6.

Quick and easy and oh so good.

 

Option:  add ˝ cup golden raisins if desired.
