Chile Rellenos Casserole

 

Ingredients:

 

2 cans whole green chiles

2 cups shredded Jack cheese

1 cup flour

1 tsp garlic salt

½ tsp each coriander & oregano

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1 can heated Ortega salsa, heated

 

Directions:

 

Slit chiles and open flat. Arrange one-half chiles over bottom of 9x9x2” baking dish. Cover with cheese. Top with remaining chiles. Ina bowl beat eggs with flour, garlic salt, spices and milk until smooth. Pour over chiles and cheese. Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees for 35 minutes or until puffed and brown. Serve with hot salsa.
