Honey-Oatmeal Bread – page 39

(For Bread Machine)

 

Ingredients:

 

1 ¾ cups water

3 Tbsp. honey

¼ cup oil

1 cup whole-wheat flour

3 cup bread flour

1 cup old fashioned oats (to make less coarse blend in blender before adding)

2 tsp. Salt

 

Directions:

 

Mix water, oil, and honey in measuring cup and put in bread machine pan.  Add bread flour, whole wheat flour, oats and salt.  Make a depression in top of flour and sprinkle in yeast.  Set on dough setting.  Take out when finished and beep goes off.  Let rise until double and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.  Makes one LARGE loaf or two smaller ones.
