Down East Barbecue Sauce (pg. 30)

Ingredients

1 qt apple cider vinegar

1 c brown sugar

1 tbsp. salt

2 tbsp. Worchester sauce

2 tbsp. Tabasco Sauce

1-heaping tbsp. crushed red pepper.

Directions

In a saucepan combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, cool, and store in a jar, will keep indefinitely. Great with beef, chicken and pork. A Southern specialty. Makes 1 qt. + 1 cup.
