Cowboy Casserole

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. Hamburger

1 tsp salt

pepper to taste

1 can (10.5 oz.) tomato soup

1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained

1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, not drained

1 tsp. Chili powder

½ c. shredded cheddar cheese

 

Directions:

Brown hamburger, salt and pepper in Dutch oven over campfire or stove.  Add remaining ingredients. For complete campfire meal, top with can of refrigerated biscuits and put on campfire 20 minutes till biscuits are brown.  Serves 6 if you triple recipe.
