Nestled in the heart of the Amish country located in Lancaster County where the fertile farmland produces nutritious food for our kitchens, 500 tasty, delicious Pennsylvania Dutch recipes have been created for your eating pleasure. We have chosen to share a recipe for Lancaster County's famous Whoopie Pies. Hope you enjoy! Our Lioness group is very small and is made up of very caring members. With the profits from our fundraisers we contribute money to both the local community and also to the Lions District 14D. Our contributions consist of donating Teddy Bears to several local volunteer ambulance associations to be given to comfort trauma patients, providing eye glasses to needy children and supporting the community library. We also support the Blind Association, The Leader Dog Program and Beacon Lodge for the Blind.
