"HEALTHIER" COOKIE BARS
2/3 c. sugar2 1/2 c. brown sugar2 eggs1 c. oil1/2 c. applesauce2 tsp. salt2 tsp. baking soda2 tsp. vanilla3 c. flour2 1/3 c. whole wheat or 20 grain flour1 1/2 c. carob or chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together with mixer, adding chips last. Spread onto jelly roll pan about 1/2 inch thick (may make more than one pan). Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
