SPAGHETTI AND CABBAGE WITH CHEESE SAUCE


ingredients

3/4 c. spaghetti
1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 lb. grated cheese (about 1 c.)
2 c. shredded cabbage
bread crumbs

preparation

Cook spaghetti until tender; drain. Make sauce from margarine, flour, salt and milk. Remove from heat; add cheese. Stir until melted. Alternate layers of cabbage and spaghetti in casserole dish. Pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Remove cover last 10 minutes.
