2 chocolate chip cookie rolls (large; frozen, they are easier to slice)
1 egg
2 (8 oz.) packs cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract


Mix together with mixer the egg, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract. Slice 1 frozen cookie roll and line bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Fill in with pieces and press down. Spread cream cheese layer on top of cookie layer. Slice 2nd cookie roll and place on cream cheese mixture. Fill in with pieces as needed. Bake in 350° oven about 40 minutes, until brown on outside but when shaken the center is a bit soft. Refrigerate; overnight is best. Slice and serve cold.
