1 pkg. devil's food cake mix (without pudding)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. Amaretto
12 oz. Cool Whip
5 or 6 crushed Heath bars (freeze before crushing)


Prepare cake mix according to directions on package. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan and divide cake into halves. Prepare pudding using 1 1/2 cups milk plus 1/2 cup Amaretto. Cut one-half of cake into 1 or 2-inch squares; layer in bowl. Then add one-half of the pudding, one-half of the candy bars and one-half of the Cool Whip. Repeat with second half of cake, pudding, candy bars and Cool Whip. Refrigerate at least 5 or 6 hours or overnight. Serves 10 to 12.
