1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dates (1 pkg.), cut up
2 eggs
2 c. Rice Krispies
pinch of salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts


Put sugar, dates and eggs in greased frying pan. Stir constantly, 7 to 10 minutes, mashing dates as you stir. Add remaining ingredients. Stir into mixture until well mixed. Start pan on hot. When hot, turn to low. When all is mixed, turn out on wax paper. On another sheet of wax paper, empty can of Angel Flake coconut. As soon as mixture is cool enough to handle, grease hands and form balls, fingers or any other shape you might want. Roll in coconut.
