1 c. butter, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking oats
chocolate raisins


In small bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add extract. Stir in flour and oats. Stir in chocolate raisins. Shape into 2 rolls, each 1 1/2-inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. (Can make drop cookies.) Heat oven to 350°. Cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
