SPICY SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN


ingredients

2 lb. chicken
2 c. Bisquick
1 c. bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. fried chicken seasoning
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
crushed hot pepper
hot sauce to taste
Crisco oil
1 jar barbeque sauce
1 Tbsp. honey
1/2 stick margarine

preparation

Clean and cut up chicken. Mix Bisquick, bread crumbs, chicken seasoning, salt and pepper in Ziploc bag. Moisten and place chicken in bag and shake. Heat oil and place chicken in oil. Fry until brown. Drain off grease. Mix together barbeque sauce, honey, melted margarine, hot sauce. Season to desired taste with salt, pepper and crushed peppers. Pour a little in a small bowl with a sealed lid, place chicken in bowl, close lid and shake. Remove and put into serving dish.
